Wow! Crochet, crochet, crochet!
Good thing I love to crochet because I have been doing a lot of it lately. Some for orders I have received, some just because, and some for memory blankets for families that have lost children to disease and accidents.Making the squares are so gratifying. You can't help but think about what the families must be going through at this terrible time during their lives.
If you might be interested in a project like this here is the link to the group that do these. You can sign up to make squares, put blankets together or donate money towards the shipping of these blankets. The group has a FB page so visit us there. JTL Squares
The last two I sent out were for a family that lost 2 of their daughters in a car accident and a 3rd daughter is still in ICU with a head injury.
I also have been making some baseball caps for little guys! I have sent one off to Hawaii, one to Maryland, and one stayed here in Michgan!
and this little set is for sale on my FB page, Brenda's Bric-a-Brac.
I thought "Daddy's Little Girl" would make a for a great photo prop. This set is newborn size and consists of a football hat, leg warmers and a crocheted pink football!
And I came across this wonderful idea! I wish I had thought of this or come across the idea while my boys were little and the grandkids were younger! But I think my grandkids will still enjoy making these. Great idea from "Lines Across": Turn baby scribbles into bows (Gift Bow Tutorial)
Have a great Monday!! I love Monday's because they are Snowflake Monday on Snowcatcher!!
