Just looking around on this nice Sunday afternoon and found these......

Zooty Owl's Crafty Blog
Lots and lots of free, beautiful patterns!

Free Crochet Patterns

Found a great idea for crocheting with more than one skein of yarn.
Crochet Rockstar is a great blog that I have added to my Google+
and here is one of her ideas!

I was looking for some flowers for this hat I crocheted for an 18 inch doll.  And mission accomplished!

I will post pics when I finish the flowers that I chose.  One that I found is Hibiscus Bloom: Pattern
and another was from Crochet Rockstar found here!

The hat pattern is from The Whoot's website.

Two of my favorite projects in August!

You may recognize the hat(Baylie Bear Cowl, designed by Heidi May) from previous posts.  The sweater is my creation.  The yarn(Red Heart Plush Baby) is now one of my favorites for sweaters and hats!

One of my favorite models(our granddaughter) wearing a hat I made from a pattern I found on Moogly's blog, Ups and Downs Crochet Slouchy Beanie.

Love this new hat pattern that I purchased!

Sorry it has been so long!  Busy! busy! busy!

I made this cowl hat for a toddler but the only model I had is my niece who happens to have a small head.  :)  I am hoping the mom that bought this for her daughter will share a pic when she gives it to her daughter for her birthday.

It is a fun pattern to work with.  I made several for the granddaughters' 18 inch dolls.  The pattern is Baylie Bear Cowl, Designed by Heidi May.

I finally wrote a pattern for one of my creations for an 18 inch doll.

Here is the free pattern for this sweater.

I worked this up this morning!  I hope you like it!

Here is the same sweater over a jumper that I made but don't have a pattern written for this.  Yet!  but maybe later keep watching!

I love this dress .  You can find the free pattern here.

I also have started a pattern for another top for her.

March is so many things....

March is:

MS Awareness month

March has St. Patrick's Day

March is my Dad's birthday

Watch for my MS Awareness post to come soon!

But in this post I have decided to share some shamrocks with you for St. Patrick's Day so you have time to crochet some.

My mom's family came from Ireland 4 generations ago and 5 McQuiston brothers settled in Michigan...that's as far back in my family history that I can trace.

On my Pinterest you can find some St. Patrick's Day ideas.

I crocheted some shamrocks this month for family and Listia using patterns and/or my own creation but I am terrible about not keeping track of which patterns I used or directions for my own.

I keep vowing I will do better but it always seems that I have too much to do with so little time.  Do you know that time just flies by for senior citizens?  Here's an article,

that supports what I feel.  Why Time Goes Faster as You Get Older

And here are some of the shamrocks that I made as time just seemed to fly by.

Do you have any to share?

I love this pattern from Snowcatcher!

Every Monday you can find a new snowflake pattern on her blog.  Here is the pattern for this beauty.

She crocheted hers in pink and white but I have been experimenting with Enchant yarn in gold.  I am thinking with the gold it would make it perfect for a 50th wedding anniversary gift.

Here is her version:
Flirtation Peak Snowflake
I added all the pics of my version just to show it in different light.  I also used a larger hook to make it more of a doily.
