Lots of crocheting going on here!!

I was working on a snowflake using a pattern I had found awhile back for a snowflake afghan.  It is a very pretty looking afghan but just to crochet the snowflake wasn't working out so I changed a row and added an extra row and I like what turned out.  The afghan was one from Art of Tangle, 2001.  It worked up nicely and looks great all shaped, stiffened and dusted with glitter.
this was before the shaping, etc.

And then I won a pattern by Glow's crochet creations on FaceBook so here is a trio of them that I made up.  I really like the pattern.

And then a good friend saw a 3D Snowflake and talked me into making one.  I really, really like the way it turned out and it is for sale on  my Etsy page.  Or my FB page, Brenda's Bric-a-Brac.

  1. I've been anxious to see how your modified snowflake turned out. I'm not sure I knew about the 3D one! Those bonnets are adorable, too!

  2. Did you check out the video of the 3D snowflake? I am thinking of making another one and taking it down to photographer to see if she can catch a regular photo of it. The pics I took did not do it justice but the video shows more of its splendor. Let me know if you want to make a 3D one out of one of your patterns and I will send a copy of the explanation of how to connect them. First you need to make 3 identical snowflakes. There is probably a site online that explains them or if you have the book 99 snowflakes that is where I found the directions.

I really like the bonnet pattern, I have several orders already.
