What's been on my hook lately

I have spent way too much time on the computer lately.  I keep finding new blogs, new things to pin on Pinterest, patterns to print out and try.  It is so much fun!!

This has been some of the the things at the end of my hook lately:

HEARTS!
But what to do with them??

I hung 3 of them in the window!

What else is on my hook?
Doll clothes for my great-niece's American Girl Doll!  I hope they fit the doll.  I need to buy me an 18 inch doll if I am going to continue making these outfits.  The hat on the left I am pretty sure will be too big but I will figure something out for it!  I probably will add more to the ruffle and make it a hat for a little girl to wear to Sunday school.  I have one little one in mind for it.

And  Snowcatcher's Blog has snowflakes that keep beckoning to me!!  Make me!  Make me sparkle!  Hang me up for all to see!!  Make a mobile!!

  1. You weren't kidding about hearts! I think it would be fun to have the doll just to design outfits!

  2. Hi Brenda,
Your crochet hearts are so lovely. And the little outfits are just adorable. When I was a little girl, my mom taught me to crochet, and I crocheted clothes for all my dolls. I have two little boys now, but I hope to have a girl some day too, so I can make doll outfits again ;-)
Thank you for visiting my blog and your sweet comment.

  3. thanks Olga, I have added a couple hearts to my collection and even came up with an idea to send them as thank you notes or Valentine Day cards. Watch for my next post.

And did you see my picture of the sweater and hat I made for my grandson's teddy bear?? So maybe you could try something like that for your sons' stuffed animals.
